Top Ten Debut Authors Who Have Me Looking Forward To Their Sophomore Novel
It turns out that I haven't read that many new authors this year! I couldn't come up with 10 but here are 5 of my favorite debut authors that I enjoyed reading in 2015!
1. Liza M. Wiemer
-Her debut novel, Hello?, was a great first read! I can't wait to get my hands on another books of hers in the future!
2. Renee Ahdieh
-I'm sure this author will be on many blogger's post for this week. Her first book, The Wrath and the Dawn, was a HUGE hit this year. I can't wait for the next book in the series!
3. Maria Dahvana Headley
-I can't tell you how impressed I was with Magonia. If you haven't read this book yet, move it to the top of your TBR. It's stunning!
4. Kathryn Holmes
-Her book, The Distance Between Lost and Found, really helped me get through a tough time this year.  If you are religious, you will enjoy this book about faith and finding God again.
5. Elissa Sussman
-Her next book in the Four Sisters series comes out in January!

  1. I loved Elissa Sussman's STRAY and I can't wait for her next book either. I wish the series was more well known - I think it is so fun and thoughtful.

    1. i thought so too! i think there was just a huge amount of princess themed books for YA in the last couple of years and this one got buried beneath all the others. hopefully with the 2nd release of her book she'll get a little more attention for her writing. thanks for checking out my post today Rachel!
