Top Ten Books That I Would Love to Write Fan Fiction For
Honesty hour: I haven't written fan fiction before. This year though, I've read a few series and books that I actually felt compelled to write my own fan fiction for. Whether or not I can find time for that in between all my school work this semester remains to be seen, but if I did these are some of the books I would choose characters and plots from!
1. Throne of Glass Series by Sarah J. Maas
-Probably because I just finished reading Queen of Shadows and it was FANTASTIC, but I had a few ideas running through my head about short stories involving Rowan and Aelin.
2. The Splintered Series by A.G. Howard
-All those years Morpheus spent in Wonderland on his own would make for some great stories!
3. Night and Nothing Series by Katherine Harbour
-As old as Jack is, I'm sure he got into a lot of trouble prior to meeting Finn! I would love to write fan fiction about his adventures.
4. Harry Potter by J.K. Rowling
-Who WOULDN'T want to write fan fiction about HP, right?
5. Scarlet Series by A.C. Gaughen
-If you've finished this series and read the last book, you'll understand where I'm coming from when I say I'd love to tie up some loose ends and write about a few of the characters' lives years later.
6. Hush,Hush Series by Becca Fitzpatrick
-I love Nora and Patch! My fan fiction about them might be pretty sappy, but I will forever ship these two.
7. The Arcana Chronicles by Kresley Cole
-Fan fiction about this series would be purely for the sake of holding me over until the next book in the series comes out!
8. Mortal Instruments by Cassandra Clare
-It's one of my favorite fandoms and I would enjoy writing fan fiction about shadowhunters.
9. Twilight by Stephanie Meyers
-I refuse to apologize for my love for this series.
10. Stolen: A Letter to My Captor by Lucy Christopher
-Other than Inkheart by Cornelia Funke, this is probably the book I've reread the most times. I loved this book and the ending, although fitting for what happened, wasn't what I was hoping for. If I wrote fan fiction for it, I would rewrite the ending.
