Top Ten Tuesday (77)

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by the Broke and the Bookish!

Top Ten Books I Can’t Believe I Haven’t Read Yet!

1. Mistborn: The Final Empire (Mistborn #1) by Brandon Sanderson
It was on my wishlist for a good 6 months, and I received it as a gift this Christmas! I can’t believe I haven’t read this yet, because I waited so long for it!  It’s currently sitting on my shelf taunting me!  Planning on getting around to it soon!!
2. A Game of Thrones (A Song of Fire and Ice, #1) by George R.R. Martin
I’m mad at myself for not reading this over my winter break!  I’ve been putting this off for a while now, because I wanted to start it when I had a chance to read the entire series, and now with school starting back up, I won’t have time! This will have to wait till summer break unfortunately!
3. Dragon Rider by Cornelia Funke
I was recommended this by another book blogger about a month ago, when they heard my favorite book was Inkeart by Cornelia Funke.  I’m actually surprised I haven’t read this yet, because Funke is one of my favorite authors!
4. If I Stay by Gayle Forman
I’ve heard so many good things about this, and I have yet to see the movie because I want to read the book first.  I started this on audible books recently, but had a hard time getting into it by listening to someone else read it.  I think I’ll start again, but read the actual book this time.
5. Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn
Another one that I wanted to read this year before I watched the movie, but unfortunately never got around to.
6. The Kill Order (Maze Runner #0.5) by James Dashner
The reason I’m surprised I haven’t read this yet is because I LOVED the mazerunner series, and met James Dashner this past year!  This book has been on my TBR for ages now, but after I finished The Death Cure I forgot to read this one as well!
7. The Outlander Series by Diana Gabaldon
I got the first four of these books in the series for Christmas, so the fact that I haven’t even made a dent in them yet is killing me!  These books are pretty long though, so that’s my excuse for why I’m been putting them off!:)
8. Black Heart by Holly Black
The last in the Curse Workers series, Black Heart is a book I didn’t know about until someone told me! I fell in love with the first two in the series, and had no idea there was a third one! I need to get my hands on this soon and find out how the series ends!
9. Throne of Glass (#1 ) by Sarah J. Maas
The main reason I’m so surprised I still haven’t gotten around to reading this one yet, is due in part to all the hype that’s been surrounding this series!  I haven’t heard one complaint about these books yet, and I added them to my TBR ages ago! One day I will get caught up!
10. Dangerous Dream (Dangerous Creatures #0.5) by Kami Garcia
Dangerous Creatures is one of my all time favorite series, so I am truly surprised I haven’t read this one yet.  Plus, if I recall correctly, this one isn’t as long as the other books in the series.  I think when it was released it was only a few hundred pages, and was released on just amazon if I’m not mistaken. Correct me if I’m wrong!

  3. I have heard so many great things about the Mistborn series, but I have a feeling it will be too much for me.

I recently read If I Stay, and turned out to be one out few who didn't like it. I hope you will though :)

    Great list !

    1. thanks Cecilie! im looking forward to starting it, but i'm a little nervous about it. i recently read "I Was Here" by Gayle Forman and was actually really dissapointed! i heard so many great things about Gayle and then i had fixed feelings after reading the book. though it was ok, it wasn't what i anticipated. so i hope "If I stay" will be better for me! thanks for checking out my post!
