Goodreads Description:

The heart-stopping conclusion to the New York Times bestselling Shatter Me series, which Ransom Riggs, bestselling author of Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children, called “a thrilling, high-stakes saga of self-discovery and forbidden love.”

With Omega Point destroyed, Juliette doesn’t know if the rebels, her friends, or even Adam are alive. But that won’t keep her from trying to take down The Reestablishment once and for all. Now she must rely on Warner, the handsome commander of Sector 45. The one person she never thought she could trust. The same person who saved her life. He promises to help Juliette master her powers and save their dying world . . . but that’s not all he wants with her.

The Shatter Me series is perfect for fans who crave action-packed young adult novels with tantalizing romance like Divergent by Veronica Roth, The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins, and Legend by Marie Lu. Tahereh Mafi has created a captivating and original story that combines the best of dystopian and paranormal, and was praised by Publishers Weekly as “a gripping read from an author who’s not afraid to take risks.” Now this final book brings the series to a shocking and satisfying end.

This series got off to a slow start for me but by the second book, I was hooked. The third book pulled me under even further. Ignite Me is full of action, intrigue, love, rejection, character growth and a killer female herione.

Oh, Juilette how you have changed! Juilette went from a shy, meak girl to a confident, brave girl ready to take on the world, literally. While Juilette is upset about the loss of Omega Point and all of her friends there she is still determined to take down the Establishment. She mourns for the people she lost but is hopeful that somehow, someway some of them survived. Ultimately though, Juilette realizes that the real leader of the rebellion is her. She sees now that she must be the one to take down the Establishment and once she realizes that there is no stopping her.

Warner, Warner, Warner, oh how I came to love thee! I never would have, could have imagined that I would come to love a psychopath like him but somehow I did. He's a tortured soul that's been through a lot but somehow he still has the capicity to love Juilette. He may make some poor decisions but it's obvious he loves Juilette.

The action and pace of this novel were excellent. Again, Mafi had me hooked from beginning to end and I was completely entranced by her writing. Her words flow so beautifully it's impossible not to.

One of the things I really liked about the series is how the strikethrough slowly fades away. In Shatter Me there are a ton of strikethrough but by Ignite Me they are gone. I love that Mafi used the strikethroughs as a way to show Juilette's character growth. As Juilette becomes more consident and self assured she trusts her thoughts more.

The Shatter Me series by Taherah Mafi is an excellent and addictive series. Whether be Mafi's beautiful flow of words or the action packed pace of the series, readers will have a hard time putting Ignite Me down.
