Top Ten Tuesday (40)

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by the  Broke and the Bookish!

Top Ten Sequels I Can't Wait to Read

1. Cress by Marissa Meyer- I loved the first two books and can't wait for this one!

2. Split Second by Kasie West- Kasie West has quickly become one of my favorite authors! I adored Pivot Point (and The Distance Between Us) and am super excited to see where this story is going!

3. Ruin and Rising by Leigh Bardugo- I got to this series a little late in the game but I listened to the audio a couple of months ago and they were both excellent. I know Ruin and Rising is going to be great!

4. The Fiery Heart by Richelle Mead- I'm a long time Richelle Mead fan and Adrian fan. How could I not be excited for this one?

5. The One by Kiera Cass- I was disappointed in The Elite but I'm hoping that Cass is able to make up for my disappointment in The One.

6. City of Heavenly Fire by Cassandra Clare- The first three books in this series were excellent, however, the last two have gotten a little weird and I honestly have a hard time remembering what happened in them. Still, I'm anxious to see how this story concludes.

7. Dreams of Gods and Monsters by Liani Taylor- The first two is this series are nothing short of fantastic. Can't wait to see how this one ends!

8. The Forever Song by Julie Kagawa- Julie Kagawa is one of my favorite authors and the Blood of Eden series is one of my favorite series. I hate to see this series end but am excited to learn the fate of all the characters I have come to know and love.

9. The Unbound by Victoria Schwab- The Archived was one of my favorite books I've read this year so I'm excited about book 2!

10. Of Neputne by Anna Banks- I was disappointed in Of Triton but I'm hopeful for Of Neptune!

And that's it! What made your top ten??

  1. Well, "disappointed" probably isn't going to compass how I felt about The Selection series, America Singer is just JQEU WOF UWHFQI MAKE UP YOUR MIND DARLING!!! I'm going to give The One it's final chance before I decide whether to frame these pretty covers or burrrrrrn them all.

Hope you'll get to read all these books soon!

  5. Ooh, I forgot about the Blood of Eden series! I'm looking forward to that one, too. The only other one on your list I've read is The Selection. I haven't even gotten to The Elite yet. I understand it's a letdown. Hopefully The One will make up for it.

  6. I can't believe I STILL haven't read Cinder. It's so hyped up in the blogging world that I really feel like I should read it already. And this week Cress has been on everyone's list, which makes me think I need to catch the heck up! I also want to read Pivot Point. It looks really good and I love the covers of both books!
