Goodreads Description:

Sometimes you have to lose yourself to find where you truly belong...

Most girls would kill to spend months traveling around Europe after college graduation with no responsibility, no parents, and no-limit credit cards. Kelsey Summers is no exception. She's having the time of her life . . . or that's what she keeps telling herself. It's a lonely business trying to find out who you are, especially when you're afraid you won't like what you discover. No amount of drinking or dancing can chase away Kelsey's loneliness, but maybe Jackson Hunt can. After a few chance meetings, he convinces her to take a journey of adventure instead of alcohol. With each new city and experience, Kelsey's mind becomes a little clearer and her heart a little less hers. Jackson helps her unravel her own dreams and desires. But the more she learns about herself, the more Kelsey realizes how little she knows about Jackson.

Finding it is one of those books that I immediately related to. Kelsey is a recent college graduate that has no idea what she actually wants to do with her life. (Yeah, been there, still doing that.) She goes a trip on a trip to Europe to try to "find herself". (Yep, did that too!) And somehow stumbles upon Jackson Hunt. (And why of all the parts of this book is this the one that didn't happen to me. Kidding! I'm happily married but hey Jackson Hunt could definitely make a girl think twice.)

I really enjoyed Finding it. It was nice reading about a character like Kelsey that didn't have it all figured out post college. However, it wasn't just that Kelsey didn't know what she wanted for the future, she also struggled with her past. Kelsey struggled to deal with things that happened to her in the past and the way she dealt with those things. Carmack does an excellent job of making you sympathize with Kelsey. Kelsey's character felt real and my heart broke for her, even though at times I was screaming just let Jackson in.

Jackson Hunt wasn't exactly a guy without a past. As an ex-military guy he had issues of his own he had to deal with. Still, like Kelsey, you couldn't help but fall in love with him. He's hot and a total gentleman. It's easy to see that he cares for Kelsey and wants to help her.

One of my favorite things about this book was the setting. Cormack takes readers on a roadtrip across Europe. All of the places Kelsey and Jackson visit made me want to take another trip to Europe. They went to the most amazing places!

I also really enjoyed watching Jackson and Kelsey fall for one another. Their chemistry was undeniable. Even through all of the rocky points you can't help but root for them to make it.

Finding it is story about finding your place in the world and learning that while scary as hell, growing up isn't so bad.
