In this seductive follow-up to Poison Princess, #1 New York Times bestselling author Kresley Cole takes us deeper into the dark world of the Arcana Chronicles.
Evie has fully come into her powers as the Tarot Empress, and Jack was there to see it all. She now knows that the teens who've been reincarnated as the Tarot are in the throes of an epic battle. It's kill or be killed, and the future of mankind hangs in the balance.
With threats lurking around every corner, Evie is forced to trust her newfound alliance. Together they must fight not only other Arcana, but also Bagmen zombies, post-apocalyptic storms, and cannibals.
When Evie meets Death, things get even more complicated. Though falling for Jack, she's drawn to the dangerous Endless Knight as well. Somehow the Empress and Death share a history, one that Evie can't remember—but Death can't forget.
OMG! This book!! Seriously, I’m not sure I can find words to express how much I loved this book! All I want to do is scream, “I LOVE THIS BOOK! KRESLEY COLE IS A GENIUS!” But since I did in fact love this book, it does deserve my best effort so here it is.
ENDLESS KNIGHT grabbed my attention from the very beginning and at the end I was literally aching for more. As I write this I am desperate to know what happens next and every time I think about having to wait a year to find out, it takes everything I can do not to have a panic attack.
In POISON PRINCESS, I LOVED Jackson, so much so that I had him in my top 5 fictional crushes. However, somehow, some way, Kresley Cole made me completely forget about Jackson Deveaux. The guy’s name? Death. Yes, Kresley Cole took a character that I completely hated and thought was a psychopath in the first book and turned him into a character that made my heart skip a beat. Death was sexy and did I mention he’s a knight? A gorgeous, blond, muscular, badass knight that will completely surprise you once you get to know him.
Kresley Cole drops a lot of bombshells in this book. ENDLESS KNIGHT is full of secrets, betrayals, and unexpected allies just as the description promises. Cole does an excellent job proving to readers that things aren’t always black and white and that there are two sides to every story.
Again, I felt the narrator did a great job. Emma Galvin portrays each character’s voice in a way that fits the character. Jackson’s voice is still my favorite with the Cajun French.
ENDLESS KNIGHT is full of action and tension. And while the storyline is unique and amazing it’s the characters that really make the story. Now, I am at a complete loss at how I want the story to end. My heart breaks for whichever guy doesn’t get Evie but I’m willing to take one for the team and take whichever guy she doesn’t pick…
