Top Ten Tuesday: June 25: Top Ten Books I've Read So Far In 2013

There's been so many great books I've read so far and I still have five more months.

10) Monument 14 by Emmy Laybourne

Teenagers and kids trapped inside a mall and they're attacked by zombies. Fun!

9) Blankets by Craig Thompson

A beautiful coming-of-age graphic novel.

8) Hopeless by Colleen Hoover

A dark love story.

7) Me and Earl and the Dying Girl by Jesse Andrews

A numerous book about cancer.

6) Forbidden by Tabitha Suzuma

A love story between siblings. I know it's out there but worth the chance.

5) Shelter and Seconds Away by Harlan Coben

His books are fun and never the same.

4) Why We Broke Up by Daniel Handler

I really like the illustrations and the few pages just describing one object.

3) Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher

This was my first audiobook and I had an amazing experience. Because of the storyline, listening instead of reading it made sense, and Hannah's voice was perfect. I really do think that if you're going to pick this book up definitely listen to the audiobook. It makes all the difference.

2) The Hunger Games Trilogy by Suzanne Collins

I know I'm quite late joining the bandwagon but there was so much hype surrounding the books I was afraid I would not like them as much, but boy, was I wrong! I cannot wait for all the movies to be out.

1) Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell

One of my favorite books ever. Their love story is adorable and I thought the ending was realistic. You must read it (if you like romance, nerds, awkward people, pop culture, and the 70's)!

  1. Eleanor and Park is in my TBR pile- I'm so excited to read it! :) 13 Reasons Why is such a great book. I need to read Why We Broke Up- it's written by Lemony Snicket after all! :)

  4. I listened to Thirteen Reasons Why from audible too. I just finished it the other day. The voices for Clay and Hannah really did a good job.

    Happy Reading :)

  5. I wasn't sure how to feel about Thirteen Reasons Why when I was done, as it was fiction, but a very powerful story.

Welcome to the Hunger Games bandwagon ;) Which was your favorite book of the trilogy?

  6. So many great books! I love Thirteen Reasons Why and Hopeless! And then I really want to read Eleanor and Park. I don't know why I haven't read it yet! And then I read Forbidden and I can admire the writing style, but the actual story. Uhhh. Not my favorite!

    Great list!
