Top Ten Tuesday (30)

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by the Broke and the Bookish!

Top Ten Books Featuring Travel In Some Way

(road trips, airplanes, travelogues, anything where there is traveling in the book!)

I was really excited about this week's topic because traveling books are one of my favorites. I love the destinations, the experiences....everything about them. But instead of just putting down contemporary road trips stories, I also included dystopians/science fiction, which involves traveling.

1) Paper Towns by John Green
2) An Abundance of Katherines by John Green
   - Entertaining stories told by male protagonists, which I find different and really like.

3) The Fault In Our Stars by John Green
-This is one of his darker novels which deals with cancer.

4) Golden by Jessi Kirby
-Great coming-of-age and finding yourself story.

5) Two-Way Street by Lauren Barnholdt
-A girl has to take a road trip with her ex-boyfriend. Lots of drama.

6) Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins
-It takes place at a boarding school in Paris. I was definitely jealous.

7) Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi
-One of my favorites from last year.

8) Uglies Series by Scott Westerfield
-One of my first dystopian novels and I still find the concept original. I highly recommend it.

9) Monument 14 by Emmy Laybourne
-Okay, so it doesn't really have any traveling, but the ending suggested a huge adventure to come. It's sequel, Sky on Fire, is already out and I'm so excited to read it.

10) Gone Series by Michael Grant
-A science fiction with lots of traveling and no parents. I really this series and it's definitely action packed.
