This Week’s Question: Do you believe ebooks are the beginning of the end of traditional bookstores?

My Answer: OHMYGOSHIHOPENOT! If bookstores cease to exist tomorrow, I'm not sure my life would go on! Okay, so yeah I'm being a little dramatic but COME ON! A world without bookstores how sad would that be! 

I'll be the first to admit that I do buy most of my books online. However, the closest bookstore to my house is an hour away and the closest Indie bookstore is about an hour and a half. So yeah, I don't have a lot options. However, I do visit bookstores as often as I can and I love going my indie bookstore, Page and Palette. They have had some amazing signings (Richelle Mead, Heather Brewer, Erin Morgenstern, and Rick Riordan) and I always enjoy stopping by. 

So my official answer to the question no I don't think ebooks are the end of traditional bookstores, just like online retail wasn't the end of retails store. Like everything in life, bookstores just have to change, adapt, and keep moving forward.
