Rick Riordan Mark of Athena Tour

Hey Y’all!

Guess what I just found out??

Rick Riordan is coming to Fairhope, AL!!!

That's only an hour from where I live!

As some of you may know, I was a co-advocate for Percy Jackson during the YA Crush Tourney so to say I’m excited is a huge understatement!
I’m not sure what his signing limits are but hopefully I will be able to get a book signed to giveaway on the blog! If he has a limit on the number of books per person you can get signed I may have to bring along one or two friends because I am planning on getting all of my books signed!
Okay, so I understand everyone doesn’t live in Alabama so I have listed below the other cities he will be touring so maybe you will get the chance to meet him as well!  If not, check back here because I will have a post about my experience at the event and hopefully there will be a giveaway!

  1. Fairhope is only an hour from me too!! I'm hoping to go to the festival that day, though I haven't read any of his books yet. (I'm ashamed, I know.)If you've never been to Page & Palette, it is a great bookstore; I go there all the time. :) Maybe I'll see you there!

  2. Oh wow!!! This is awesome news! I don't know if my schedule will allow it, but I would LOVE to go! If not, you'll have to take a picture of him for me. Maybe I'll send you a card to give to him that says "I love Percy Jackson!" haha! Thanks so much for sharing this great news! Hooray Alabama getting some great author visits!

  4. This book was a gift for a friend and she seems to really enjoy it. i have no idea what the story is about but it was shipped fast and packaged nicely. it was hard bound i believe and from what the jason bourne movies have taught me, it would also make a great defensive weapon.

  5. Awesome book, as usual from Rick Riordan. Suspense and whatnot the whole way through, with a lot of twists! And then the promised cliffhanger... Five stars all the way. I would've said more, but spoilers are mean!
