Top Ten Tuesday (9)

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by the Broke and the Bookish!!!

Top Ten Classics that I HAVEN’T read that I WOULD like to Read

  1.  Chronicles of Narnia- I’ve watched the movies and read the ending to the last book but have read the series in its entirety. I’ve been thinking about doing a Reading Challenge for it. Let me know in the comments if you would be interested! J
  2.  Gone with the Wind- I loved the movie and have read the sequel, Scarlet (published by a different author) but have never read Gone with the Wind.
  3. Dracula- I love vampire books and I’m kind of ashamed to admit that I have never read the original vampire book!
  4. Jungle Book- I actually bought this one recently at Booksamillion. I just haven’t had time to read it yet!
  5. Sense and Sensibility- I have a bracelet with a quote from this book but I haven’t read the book! I really need to get on this one!
  6. Farewell to Arms- I bought this book in high school but never could get into it. I really want to give it another shot!
  7. Frankenstein- Another book I bought that I haven’t gotten around to reading!
  8. Peter Pan- I’m not sure this is actually considered a classic but I would love to read the original version.
  9. The Last Unicorn- Uh, hello, UNICORNS!!
  10. Jane Eyre- I’ve read about half of this book and would really love to finish it at some point!

  1. Peter Pan definitely counts! This is a great list! I find that classics are a lot easier to read now that I don't have a teacher telling me the I have to read them.

  2. Gone With The Wind is so sweeping. I think that you'll really like it when you check it out, especially if you like the movie.

And oh goodness, The Last Unicorn is a BEAUTIFUL book. Definitely worth reading.

  7. I haven't read most of these either. And I agree with other comments - Peter Pan is definitely a classic! I would do a classic books challenge. I have a ton of classics sitting here, gathering dust. I need some motivation to get them read. A challenge might do the trick!
